I am hoping to do some fly-fishing for steelies up on the Skykomish this weekend, so how are people doing up there? Also, any info on the south and north forks of the sky for steelhead would be much appriceated, as well as good techniques(Im just starting to flyfish for steelhead).

The Sky is crowded so get there early on the weekend. There are fish in the N fork but they don't truck fish past the falls on the S fork till later in the summer. If you're just begining you might try above the boat launch at high bridge(just outta gold bar). There is more room for casting and the whole stretch can be productive.
