We opted to to fish Sultan to Lewis St. Made it down to Taylor at 4:30 am and wasn't the first boat there. Ol' Hammond beat us to it! wink Never saw a fish caught the entire day. Heard of one boat with one steelhead. Saw *one* king in the water and saw 2-3 more jump. Saw about 4 steelhead in the water the entire day! Got rained on a lot.

How was the upper Sky near the mouth of the Wallace?

Let's hear those reports! Email me privately if you do not wish to go public. Don't worry, I don't own a sled, so I won't be racing up to the mouth of the Wallace any time soon...unless you take me this week! wink

Ol` Hammond???? Parker how did you know I just turned 50? LOL. We expected more pressure, so we dumped in at 3:00 am. That hole was holding fish every morning last week. I figure they shot to the Wallace as soon as they sensed the rain. It was good to see you and Kid Sauk out there. Doesn`t the Kid own raingear? Even if it wasn`t that cold, he ddn`t look to comfortable. LOL. Good Fishin` up North, hope you guy`s have safe and enjoyable trip. Bob H. wink

Too bad the Sky opened up about a month too late because it sure sucks now. We found a couple fish rolling here and there and saw a chromer swim by the boat but still not enough to warrant the effort of fishing for them.

Remind me to check the weather report next time as I was expecting *summer* weather not winter steelhead weather. I usually keep 2 extra rain suits in the storage under the seats but I took them out when I was cleaning my boat. Ooops, now they are back in there where they belong. Although I did freeze my tail off, I am an Alaska native and it takes quite a bit more than a summer rain storm to keep me from fishin wink
