How many miles is it by way of 101 from Hoh Oxbow to G&L shake. Also how many hours would that float take. Lastly with this warm weather is the hoh river rising and getting real milky. Thank you for any help.

It's about 5 mi. by road or river. To me, thats a good half day float.
Looks like the river spikes at oxbow everyday at noon.
Would float way early or way late.
Hope this helps.
Also, I never use G&L,I like nolans bar.

How do you get to nolans bar? Is Nolan's the launch that charges $5. Also what is the website that shows the flow in Gallons per second? (I think it is gallons per second). Lastly what is a good flow range for the HOH. Thank you very much Flickyourjig.

1st. what kinda boat you got?
2nd. 1400 cfs. or higher is good.
3rd. the place that charges is helen clapp, named for the big tree.
4th. nolans is a lil tricky to find but here goes.
About three miles south of the hoh on 101 there is a no name creek, lil bridge and a rock pile on the west side of 101. take that road back to nolans bar. Huge river bar, about a mi. long.
5th. search for realtime river flows.
Hope this helps.

Is this the Shawn I've fished with before with Steve Miller? If it is, it's about time you found this board! Let's hook up sometime soon.
