How did people do this weekend? Where did you fish?

Saturday six of us fished out of LaPush on Admiralty Charters, we caught lots of silvers and one king, biggest silver was about 14lbs, the king was mid 20's. The silver fishing was hot. Then we went bottomfishing, that was a bit slower, but still good... we kept 11 lingcod and 31 rockfish... great time, great captain, Larry Williamson... highly recommended!! I'm going back out with him on the 26th.

Sunday four of us fished on my boat at Pillar Point, east of Sekiu, the fishing there had really slowed down since I was there three weeks ago. We had a late start, fished about 8am to 12:30pm, we only had 16 fish to the boat, and only 2 small hatchery coho out of those. When we found the fish, the fishing was quick, we had two doubles and three triples, but the rest of the time was spent trying to find bait and rips in the thick fog. Oh well, maybe the fish have moved on to the Sound... any thoughts?

Drano Lake was hot, too hot temp was around 100 degrees. Fishing is still slow. 48man hours got us 2 fish. Was not worth the trip. Couldn't sleep at night ,it was so hot.

I finally went salmon fishing in the salt for the first time this year. Caught a 5 lb hatchery silver on my third buzz bomb toss from shore at Point no Point. About two dozen fishermen and not much action. Lots of herring coming in towards the shore. Also a seal. A five year old boy nailed his dad with a buzz bomb behind the ear and pierced his skin with two hooks. I removed it with my leatherman pliers. Good thing he removed the barbs. Also read that there are fish at Marrowstone Island.

Fished in my backyard at Southworth on Sunday. Managed to punch 2 limits by 9:30 am.

Picked up a 14, 2 16's and an 18 pounder. Lost one around 20 pounds that we hooked up using a tomic plug at 90 feet. The rest of them were hooked up using whole herring behind a flasher at 45-60 feet.

I talked with "dangerous dave" later that day and he picked up 2 chinook and a real nice hook nosed slab coho. I also think that "umrules" picked up a chinook and 2 coho.

Anybody know what the Sinclair derby results are? How about the PSA derby?
