I was headed up near that area this weekend and was wondering if anyone was doing any good up there. If not what are some alternative rivers in the area I could fish.

Humptulips--Doesn't open until October 1, for salmon. Steelhead, they didn't plant fish 2 yrs. ago so no returns, maybe a few 3+ yr. fish. Chehalis--Boat fishing, 28th Street, some kings. Satsop, not open for salmon, yet.
Rains--need some, but sometimes once it starts, doesn't know when to quit....

I believe they are netting the Chehalis until thursday, you might look at the Wynoochee for summer runs,but it is low and clear.
