Anyonw know when the Ringold area will be opening up for the steelys?

Hey Mac,

I thought they shut down the hatchery for steelies. Obviously if it was this year there will still be fish for a couple more but I'm not sure on the 'if' and 'when' they did this.

There are more steelhead there then you can shake a stick at. The entire Hanford Reach is full of them. Alot of my buddies who chase Salmon up there, say they have never seen so many. Yet they say they are endangered. Go figure. I have heard rumors that they were going to open Ringold up for them, but they are just that, rumors. rolleyes
ps. Fish at night above the dams!

Fly fishing for head has been real slow. I haven't seen it this bad for many years. Most of the time I would have hooked and released at least 100 head by now. I don't have a answer why it's so bad. The duck
