James- That 21 pounds of nickel bright summer-run is my choice!!! That is one beautiful fish!!!...especially when you consider the status of native summer-runs in this state.
An absolutely magnificent fish!!!!...must have tore ya up.

Now it should work. They get bigger, but not too much brighter. These are two Nestucca bucks from Sept.5 2001.

Here's a pic of my second steelhead. It was only 6 pounds, but it's a chromer. Here's a 26 pound king I caught in the South Sound last summer. And the very next weekend, I caught this 18 hen in the same place! Both salmon were white kings too. [ 11-07-2001: Message edited by: JacobF ]

I'm sure there are more pics to come. But to this point, among so many nice fish pics, the 2 that stand out to me are the Kid's steelie buck and Bob's steelie hen. They are not only brighter than bright, their picture quality is excellant too. It's part of what set's them apart from other pics of fish that could have been as bright. ... The brightest chinook pic is Steve's (fishbait's) chromer, held horizontal. But it's the sun on the chrome side and pic quality that is so nice. Notice it's belly isn't snow white as some other 'nooks are; that have less sunlight and pic quality. But hey Steve, your belly is white isn't it? Keep posting. Most of us love good fish and scenery pictures. RT [ 11-07-2001: Message edited by: RT i ]

How about some of these... Here's me with a 40lb chrome buck out of the lewis.. I love them monsters... Here's james with a chrome lewis summer run nate... Another of james with a chrome summer hatchery fish on the lewis... Oh, and yes I do occasionally fish spinners too! Love them bright one's!! And sparky that 21 lb nate that james got did kick his butt, considering he landed it on a 1141 and a 6 lb leader...
