I just found out from a BB member that those of us that have Outlook Express e-mail via AT&T cable internet service had our e-mail addys changed. I am not sure whether my e-mails the last few days have made it out or not. The ones sent to me via my reeltruth1@home.com addy have not gotten thru to me, and won't. The member informed me that my addy is now reeltruth1@attbi.com and that turned out to be correct. Thanks sr. If you are in this program you should be aware of this.

It doesn't have anything to do with Outlook Express, RT. All of us who were on @Home are now username@attbi.com. Tech hint: if you put in simply "mail" (no quotes) in your incoming and outgoing mail server names it will work regardless.

Oh, and get rid off that Outlook. It's like running around with your wiener out of your zipper in a whorehouse in Africa.

i had the same problem. when i called at&t yesterday they told me my area would be down for 7 days, its nice to see it back up so quick...sure sucks to have to change the email and update the mailing list and online stuff tho. so why dont you like outlook express (besides it being a MS product)? i didnt really like outlook 2k when i tried it, but outlook express works fine for me, ive never had any problems with it.

Outlook is a good mail client if you like the special add-on viruses that are being written for it every day.

Really, if the person knows how to use it SAFELY it is a good mail client. We use 2000 at work and it does quite nicely. Of course, we are locked down tight at work so no runnable code can be sent via email.

I guess it's like the gun arguement. Email programs don't distribute virii. PEOPLE distribute virii.
