Has any one fished it and when does it get good for steelies,or does it get good? I drive by it on my way to other destonations, I did fish it once last year in late december with no luck.thanks!

Touchet can be a real good small stream. Usually the fish show up in good numbers in about Feb. and it stays good through March. Popular areas are between Waitsburg and Dayton in and around Lewis and Clark Trail State park. Also around Rose Gulch Rd., just upstream from there. They also get alot of fish just below the hatchery right in dayton at the city park. Late dec. and Jan some fish can be found in the Prescott area. I have had some real good days on this small river, and it is definitely worth a try in another couple of months.

Mike:Thats great infomation. guess Ill try it a little later. Im going wednesday on the tucannon it has been real good as long as you can finde a strech to your self. people wade right through the holes and you cant fish behind them. thanks for the info!!!!!
