No lie! Seriously.

I went to a Christmas party last night and saw the record certificate hangin' on the wall, along with a mount of the fish that the taxidermist got done in a hurry for Brad.

The fish was caught on the Quinault with Inky Charlie in November. It weighed 25.27 pounds and was mint bright. At least it was the record at that time.

Now you know why Brad spends so much time on the Quinault every fall. Then he has the nerve to call you at work while he's on the river.......

That's a heck of a silver

I told him to let me know the next time he goes, 'cause I'm goin'. He has a lot of nice mounts, including an 80 lb king from the Kenai, and a few 30+ steelhead from the quinalt.

i've had the pleasure of fishing with brad,he fishs hard.very dedicated in the search of trophy fish, and a super nice guy to boot.people that fish that hard deserve state records. scott

How accurate is the fish weigh-in on this site for silvers? I remember a couple of posts back in October or so regarding this, but don't remember what the consensus was. I released a 35" by 22" silver buck on the Stilly early this month--the fish calculator puts it at 21.85 lbs.

The funny part about the whole story was that Brad's buddy ate a bigger fish caught the same day without weighing it.
