Got some cool goodies. First was a new Curado CU-200BSF. We'll see how long it lasts before it requires a rebuild! wink

Santa helped chip in a for a new SIMMS Gortex Guide Jacket and a SIMMS Windstopper Heavyweight Jacket!

You can never be too warm or dry out on those rivers!

How about a Loomis 1143 mached up with a Shimano Calcutta 200 GT! And if that weren't enough a bottle of 18 yr. Glenfiddich and Tom Douglas' Seattle Seafood cookbook. Score. I must have been extra good this year. Thanks Santa.

All I got was a hall pass to Drift the Upper Skykomish. Just me and the Eagles! I wish there would have been a fish or two.

I got three Labs. But they were only on a pillow. I don't know why I get these stupid gifts. I tell them all if it ain't about fishing don't buy it. All I ever get is junk that I don't need. I told them all that I wanted a Spey rod, but no one listened. Drat. Jim s. mad

Well, I knew in September that I was going to get golf balls and underwear, so I bought myself a jet sled. I recommend this approach heartily.

S'ilton, my son got me a few boxes of the new Top Flight XL 3000 Distance golf balls. They claim to be 7 yards longer than the XL 2000's. I know he did this so I would be 7 yards further into the woods off the tee. laugh (he plays the OGA Junior's and likes to put the whup on me)

Lets see, I got some fairly neat stuff. A Mr. Heater propane heater and small tank for the Drift Boat. Frogg Toggs Rain gear, Sports Illustrated calender, Kershaw Knife, Leatherman, Old Shimano 251 SG in excellent condition! Other non fishing related stuff. The best git was spening most of Christmas day sitting in a nearly brand new 21' Customeld sled with my dad plunking for steelhead, even though we didnt get anything to the boat it was a great day. wink

I got some minor fishing goodies - books and ornaments but the best stuff was a Nikon Coolpix775 digital camera, certificate to pick up a new fishing rod of my choice, and I purchased a bunch of new jigs and lures.

Santa won't visit our house until tomorrow as we're waiting for family to return to the west coast ... I'm hoping that I was good enough for some goodies, but I still have to wait and see frown frown

I had to wait an extra day for Santa to visit since my brother didn't make it back from Wyoming to our place until yesterday.

The wait was worth it though, Santa brought me an underwater video camera smile

It'll take me a bit to figure out how to work it like I plan to ... but when I do, look for some neat vids on the site!!

Sweeeeet Bob!!!! I've always wanted to see some Steely action from underwater. I want to see plugs backing a fish down a hole until provoked to strike!
