I'm carrying this over from another thread. I ask you this, what inanimate object do you need on your person to give you that mental edge while on a fishin mission? Myself, I have bought into the hat thing. I have my go to hats that of course never let me down. A bad senario go's something like this: Start the day off with the full intentions of putting in a full days work hence the "lucky work" hat. Just before lunch the talk of fishing marinates the room just short of actually tasting it. The temptation becomes to great and before you know it off to the buffet that has the river running thru it. We're goin fishin, we're goin fishin.....DOPE wouldn't you know it I'm saddled with the wrong hat OK, calm yourself, it's not the hat, it's not the hat, it's not the hat. FJ...out. Fishing is my religion dammit!

I have an urge to say something about my pants right now! Buuuut, I better not.
Hey Randy, I've been meanin to ask ya about your signature slogan, "never horse a fish on a losing streak". What's wrong with horsing a fish that is on a losing streak?

Diana, should I take that as a joke or insult? I assumed that my comment would be taken in jest due to a past comment that you made here earlier. If a joke then that was a good one! If an insult then a double standard seems to exist! You clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

FJ- Oh, puhleeze.....can't you tell from the twinkle in my eye? I'm never one to insult a feller fisherman. Dang. I must have forgotten that little gremblin that sticks his tongue out :p ....yeah, that one. So, now that we've straightened that out, can I still beat you with a Loomis and scrub your mouth out? diana

KB, I'm glad you clarified that! For future reference never put "lucky charm" and "strap on" in the same sentence.
