I don't get a chance to get out this way to often but tomorrow i will be coming out to fish friday afternoon and saturday morning,so can anyone help me with some good places to try from the bank on the bogey, sol duc,or the calawah.i'm not asking for anyone's secret spot, just a couple of good places to try,i normally would have now problem doing a little bit of exploring and finding places to fish on my own,but like i said i don't get out that way to often so it's time issue, thank very much for any help.

Try the Hoh. It should be perfect right about now. Typically, the Hoh gets a later hatchery run than the Bogey's which is just about over. Head south from Forks on 101 and somewhere around mile marker 177 take a right on oil city road. There are several awesome bank spots along the road. About 3 miles down you can fish cottonwood campground with tons of bank access. If you want to fish the mouth of the river head all the way until you can go no further. Best time is at high tide. Best thing is, you'll find solitude also. Nothing like the Bogey. Caught 3 there last Saturday. 2 hatchery brats, one native. The native looked close to 15 pounds. GOOD LUCK!

Cutthroat,

Looking for fish buddies/tip swapper in the area of Puyallup, just moved there from Gig Harbor. If you want, cast me an e mail.
