S-L-O-W! and how. Water was in good shape, fish were somewhere else? My fishin' bud, Craig had one roll on his fly, but missed the hook-set confused

Saw about three small brats taken, two on the hatchery side, one on the Hwy side.

Spent the morning down around Sultan, then went to Reiter. The scenery was beautiful though.

Yeah, probably. There were 4 of us. I was in my warm winter gear - Bare Neoprenes, and wearing a touk (SP?)- Canadia for wool hat. Not my normal steelheading attire! Oh yeah, I was the guy with the fish! wink

I'd brag and show you a picture, but that would just upset TimberMan! wink (JK)

It was a HOG for sure. My guess would be 18-22lbs. It ripped 80 yards in about 3 seconds and then adios.......I almost felt like throwing my rod in the river! Oh well, I'll have to get another one! It was a beautiful day to be out reguardless.

I got a good look at him though! Right after I drilled him he came up with one big headshake, did a 180 and then showed me his tail. Three to 4 seconds later I was sprinting after him in some VERY heavy water. Line was disapearing way too fast, he won!
