You know how if you go back to the main page (not the forum) there is a tip section...

From the tips and techniques I have seen, most are for river fishing, is there anyone here who has a digi. camera, the know how, and would want to ask Bob if they could make a tip for saltwater fisherman once a month or something?

I think that'd be cool to see.

Thanks,
BEn

OK fishinhide hears one for the B'Mouth season.
The best tides to fish are those with a 6 ft. or less difference. If you cannot fish a tide with less than 6 ft. of difference target the tide changes, 1 - 2 hours before to 1 - 2 hours after the tide change. The tides on the first weekend fit the second scenario (7.8 ft difference in the morning tide change). The second week end the tides are awesome, just a 1.8 and 2.4 ft difference on the morning changes that weekend.
Good luck and tight lines, Jeff laugh laugh

Thanks Jeff, I didn't know about the 6' difference rule smile

Anyone go out looking for fish or bait fish when they can't fish, so they know where to fish when they can (kinda like hunters do with deer)?

---------------My Tip- ---------------------
I found at night, the bait fish really come alive, and where i am, they do so in the same areas every day, so I figured they must stay in the same area... So the next day, go to where you saw the bait fish feeding like crazy the night before... Next day I went back to where I saw a TON of bait fish and there was a nice big salmon waiting for my Buzz Bomb smile

(not much of a tip) but that's me for ya'

anyone else got a tip or something they do, or wana do the pic. tip?

Thanks again Jeff,
BEn

FnHIDE, Fish for Blackmouth in the bottom 10-15 feet unless they are chasing bait then fish just below the baitball. Troll faster than you think(2.0-3.0 mph) because most troll to slow when fishing flasher combo. Scents work because it hides the human smell which repells fish. Fish the tide changes unless the flow from high tide to low tide to high tide is less than 6 ft change.
