I was unable to make it out there this weekend and was hoping that if you were, you would post a report on this thread...

Thanks....

Fished it some before the weekend, floated the upper end a couple of times. Not alot of presure during the week but not a huge pile of fish either. Id say it has more fish than anywhere else in the area but no better than fair fishing Id expect 1 bite to every 4 hours out of a boat. From the bank you might be lucky to get a bite.

Without a doubt things are on the downhill slide right now and it is the wrong time of year for things to go downhill.

Fished the upper Hoh monday real hard, and we hoohed one dark fish. We really pounded the water in every hole. Tuesday we fished the lower river. Only had one solid take down.

Seems to be real slow out there right now. Hardly worth the trip. Rich G might have a point. If so, that is real sad. Such a waste.

We, put in at Cottonwood, on Saturday, what a *itch, dragging your boat over the island to the main channel, and floated down to Barlow take out. We hooked 8 and landes 5 in the that drift. Water was great but it rained most of the day.Lots of boats behind us.
