Even though the fishing has been slow I went south this afternoon for a few hours and managed to hook three fish, one on the fly and two on gear. the one on the bug rod was a hot black and white hen of about five pounds that tore me up before throwing the hook. Then I lost another fish on gear of about 8 pounds it was a colored buck.

Then I managed to land this fish about an hour later. Definately not a new fish but very colorfull and pretty.

But all was not well as you can see in the next photo he was foul hooked. I know he bit as he was very agressive and I got him on the retrieve. But I got him in the chin.

Although I got this fish last friday and have already posted it twice I have to post it agian. Might be the most perfect larger sized buck I have ever caught. Not a scale missing and just enough rose to make him look real.
