I just seen Bruce G's post from a week or so ago about the traffic that frequents this site. I clicked on the link and viewed the site statistics for that day. One thing that stumped me though was the chart that showed hits from different states in the U.S. VIRGINIA was the state with the most hits, followed by Washington with a LOT FEWER hits. Am I missing something here? I thought most of us here were from Washington/Oregon/Idaho/Canada/Montana/etc, but certainly not from Virginia?! Nothing against Virginia, but I just wondered...don't think there's salmon/steelhead there? confused

I think that AOL or something like that routes all their stuff through Virginia.

fp from WA.

fp is correct. When you are looking at a site's statistics and you are looking at the locations that the hits originate from, that location is not the location of the computer from which hit that originated but it is actually from where the hitter's (is that correct?? laugh ) ISP is located.
