I'm a Lead Engineer at a semi-conductor fab, same company but different area as B-Run, with the same schedule. Lots of free time...if you don't need much sleep.

Acquisitions analyst....commercial real estate. Basically I sit at a computer and crunch numbers all day while monitoring the PP board and plotting my next fishing adventure. JMS
PS Also do a bit of remodel work on the side for fun.

Cool post. Interesting to see so many different folks around here.
I'm a technical writer for a large software company. No, not that one. We make the graphics software so many of you pirate. Basically, I write instruction manuals and run a website for developers within the company. In a previous life I wrote for newspapers and a wire service.
I also scam free fishing trips in exchange for magazine stories at every opportunity.
Hey Jerry, I think I've taken a lot of your shop's scraps. Love to see the inside sometime.

Now now, Dave.. people goota have there Adobe fix every now and then... hehehehehe anyways.. I am the Sr. Systems Administrator for a company that deals in flavoring oils.. (Mostly Mint).. ever chew DoubleMint gum????? So I play with network hardware and crash databases and pull my hair out dealing with bunches of legacy crap.... but the perks are good and they pay me to do stuff I like to do.. so thinga are OK.

Adobe fix? Heh, ask Sparkey about HIS Adobe "fix". Took him days to "fix" the mess leftover from his Adobe adventure. Of course between you and me (and the thousands reading this) it was likely a corruption in IE but I'll rag on Adobe just because they turned the feds on that hacker...er...crusader for the blind Dmitry Sklyarov.
