Any news on catching?

Somebody has to be fishing out there. I fished below Rainier, Oregon on Monday and Tuesday. All in all 2 pretty good days. Would like to fish the Columbia again this week. And, would like some suggestions. I'm in Yakima, but will travel to see new stuff.

Anybody getting any? Springers that is!

Any help appreciated. Looking to go Monday - Thursday.

Thanks,

Tom cool

Was out thursday and got 2 myself both around 16-17lbs, and did see a boat that managed to land 7. All this was happening just below the mouth of the kalama and all fish were taken on wrapped kwikies while anchored on the outgoing tide. Have also heard some real good reports around the mouth of the lewis, I had buddy that limited two guys out (4 fish) trolling herring right around warrior rock across from the mouth of the lewis.
Good luck.

I went out last Wed. with NW Fishing Adventures to Warrior Rock area and we (my buddy) lost one that hit the guides rod on kwikie w/wrap outgoing tide, which was the only hit all day. Saw maybe twenty fish on,half landed and only three keepers. I should have wore my black one piece with the white stripe!

Two strikes, two hatchery fish in the net Saturday between Willow Grove launch and Cathlamet. One on a prawn and one on a K13 without a wrap.

Lots of boats but it's a big river ain't it. Didn't see many nets waving around and the wind probably made things a little uncomfortable for folks in open boats.
