The wife and I dug razor clams on Saturday and Sunday down at Gearhart. What is the best method to freeze them? Any suggestions? We do have a food saver to vacuum pack them. Can you just put them in the food saver bags and vacuum seal them as they are? I have heard about freezing them in a half milk/half water solution.

Bill, throw them in a ziplock bag in the freezer for a day or 2. Then take them out and vaccumn pack them. You won't have all the juice to mess up the seal.

It is not illegal to deplete a fishery by management.

They need to limit Democrats to two terms, one in office, and one in prison.

I just put them in the food saver bag's then turn the seal bar on high and let it roll, there will be plenty of juice in the slot. Some times I'll hit the over ride button to seal it faster.Good luck,

I have done it many ways.
But I prefer to water pack mine.
I use either tupperware or gallon ziplock freezer bags.
I put ten clams per container and two cups cold fresh water. They can last for about a year.
