Summer runs throughout, springers in lower river, so I hear. Call Great American Tackle in Clackamas for drift info.

Hey Wild Chrome....without telling me any secrets (are there any left on the Clack??), what is the best spot on the Clack to get on the bank and cover some water?

Stlhdr2,
The best spot totally depends on water level in my experience. I fish mainly the upper 1/2 of the lower Clack. All bank access points and parks have at least some good water nearby. Just too bad there's not any more bank access than there is. McIver has the most access and I catch fish all through there. More crowded up by the dam and at Dog creek, but then there's more fish there too. You can also access the bank below the dam on the east side at Rivermill park. That was closed this time last year, but I think it may have reopened. Amato publications makes a good fishing map of the Clackamas that shows locations of access points. Some, I haven't yet checked out yet.
Later!
