It isn't happening in the river off the bank yet. They are stacking up outside and the bite in the boats has been ok. The river is low and clear and will probably need a rain or snow melt to come up and suck in some fish. I prefer to fish off the bank but am sticking with the boat until they move.

Thanks fella, i appreciate the info! Maybe a little steelhead fishing will cure my salmon blues until the river comes up!

One place they did do real well yesterday is off the bank at underwood(the plank at the mouth of Big White Salmon). Casting wiggle warts if you can stand it.
