Hey guys, I've never really fished the Wind. The only time I have fished it, was this last Sunday. I didn't have a clue where I was going. Maybe some of you can help me with landmarks. Shiperd falls is below coffer dam which is below the hatchery. I got that, but is there an actual dam, or was it removed? How much space is between the falls and the dam, and from the dam to the hatchery? It's a long drive, and don't plan on fihsing the river to many more times, but I would like to know some basic facts. For example, if I ever want to battle the crowds again where shouold I go, where can I walk, and how much exploring can I do? went down for a little pre-weekend tune up, can you say slow,slow,slow. I can't belive they have not showed up in big numbers yet. Canyon is absolutly dead, fish checker checked only one fish from seven mile yesterday!!!!

I keep telling you guys they are not in and I am starting to get a little worried. It is getting real late. I have caught plenty of fish, but as I have stated I fish the wind almost everyday and they have not come in like they should have by now. Remdrake can think they are all outside all he wants, but I have a boat and fish out there plenty and there is not 30,000 fish outside. I am not going to say yet that they won't show up, but I am getting nervous. There are going to be a whole lot of disappointed guys from Vancouver this weekend.

I wasnt trying to say you were wrong gorge-fisherman. I do believe they are coming and that there will be a strong return. I should never had made the comments I did and should never mention anything about the department. I'm wrong and everybody else is right,the line of work I am getting into fully relfects that . I really hope the fish come and I believe they will. I could be wrong and I'm sure you will let me know it.
