Hello, first time poster, long time lurker. Thanks for all the great info. I would like to buy a driftboat and not become a bad statistic. I also enjoy fishing small lakes. How well would a driftboat perform on flat water with a trolling motor while I developed my river skills? Thanks.

Very stable, and will troll well. But with the lack of vee, and the high bow, the bow will swing in the wind a bit. I have a 16'x54" Diamond Back, 1 year old Available for $4300, FULLY LOADED. Call me @ (206)396-5380 if looking??
