We arrived in Sekiu the day after the closure of kings last month and had that trip planned for a while so, to say the least we were pretty bummed!! We were hoping to get some crab with our 4 (small)hatch silvers, however,the huge gut pile @ Olsons docks as well as our pots out deep were untouched both days!!???? This has me completely stumped due to the fact that a few Septembers ago we waded the beach for our limit in an hour!! Has anyone recently crabbed @ Sekiu with success?? Is the pile still there??

fishbelly 2 my experiance has been that there are no crabs at sekiu.been there, tried that.starfish only!sorry but that sounds like a trip i took up there recently.what gives?

Crabs are available at Sekiu at night. The best crabbing in the area is in the bay just West of Pillar Point but the tribes usually have tons of commercial pots in there.
