Going out Wednesday with my boys to target silvers. There's a nice high tide change at 9 am. Anyone been out recently? I'll post how I do...
Thanks!

I have seen/heard some decent reports out of Possession for silvers and some released kings. Troll deep (65') for them.

Fished Possession on Sunday, landed a 12# hook and lost a 4-5# after he wrapped around the downrigger cable (please see electric downrigger wanted ad in fishing classifieds smile

Both fish were hooked using a hoochie and minnow sized herring on the hooks, trolling fast in 25-35 ft. of water.

We Didnt see any other boat land a fish Sunday Morning out there, Luck was in our favor I guess.

Fished jeff head sunday morning and didn't hit any. Out of all of the boats we saw we didn't see any fish caught. It was real discouraging. only the 2nd time I have been skunked in the salt all year. eek

Fished for a few hours on sunday from dolphin PT. three tree and redondo. Hit two small silvers and no kings. Didn't see one net in the water frown Where did the big boys go? Might try further south next weekend. Good luck.

Echo that Fishslayer, but we did see two Kings early at 3TP. Headed for Dolphin for zero and then trolling back to Eagle Harbor, we hit two (Coho)off Blake Island. We wer in the Grand Banks "Amy Lynn"

Thanks for the responses. Just got back, fishing was fair for me, better for others. 2 kings at Jeff Head, zip at Possession. Full report over at WashingtonLakes.com.

Just got back from Apple Tree Cove (Kingston). There are lots of Coho on 100 - 120 foot bank extending from Apple Tree Point all the way to the ferry lane. Were there for 3 hours (Between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM). Limited the boat (3 anglers), but fish were smallish, 3lb to 4lb. In fact, the fish were so thick we snagged (and released) at least a dozen small Coho and immature blackmouth. One of the ones we kept was snagged in the tail.

Lots of shaker blackmouth, too.

We used a Krippled Anchovey using a green head bonnet behind a red- or green-bordered Hot Spot flasher. Tried hoochies and Coyote spoons and got some releases, but they were really after the anchovies.

Good luck,

Michael

You kept a fish that was snagged in the tail?

Fished the Shipwreck and Possession today without a bite. The fish have not shown up yet I think.

Kingston / Jeff Head.
Mature silvers are definately coming thru. There are a lot of resident silvers and blackmouth too though. Limited every time out last week. All mature silvers were picked up very shallow on falling baits and lures. There is alot of flotsam in the water during the best tides and locations; frustrating but rewarding for the bigger fish. Very shallow shoreline yeilding fish too, early and late. Good luck.
