I took my dad and older brother out fishing today. I was able to guide them both to their first steelhead! I even picked up one, and a bonus silver. Between the three hens, I have a gallon bag full of eggs!

Dad got his on plain eggs, and despite a bit of a dunking, he held on, and brought the fish in.


Paul got his on a jig. He was flyfishing most of the day, but I convinced him that a jig I tied under a monster cheater was really just fishing with a weighted fly under a strike indicator. Notice that he has no hair .

There's another of us out here that's never LANDED a steelhead. I say LANDED as I've had a couple on years ago (before I quit fishing for them), but never brought any to the bank.
