Well, gales were forecast today, and from 7 to 1 it never got over 6 mph, and by 1 it was 0, according to the Tacoma airport wind guage http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/wrhq/GetMetar.cgi?TIW+Public+Seattle So who knows, maybe the same thing will happen Saturday. And if not, well, I can probably put a dink in my little Alaskan and be in the money if all you crackers in your big seaworthy boats whimp out, and there's more prizes to go around too, not to mention more

thats not right, somebody can buzzbomb a winner in the tail and be back for breakfast.

To be honest Rockfish, it is a possibility. However, who's going to be brave enough to fish the Flat (Nisqually) or Minter in the forecasted winds? Not to mention brave enough to bring a Chum to the scale! Not this guy. I'll probably be on the lee of Fox Island.
It is going to be a tough one....

Actually the rules don't have the word "salmon" in them anywhere. Does mention dogfish, though. I'd judge a dog salmon entry in the "dogfish" class myself Blackmouth or bust for me

Dwnriggn, Will be launching at first light at the Narrows Marina...Be listening for you on chnl 68 "Coho Mojo". Black box never made it in so guess I'll have to stick with my old tactics.
