Has anyone hit any steelies on the Green yet? Looking to fish over the holidays and I'm trying to narrow down my options. If not the green any other suggestions?

Don't waste your time. Unless you want to waste your time. I fished Metzlars & Flaming Gyser Yesterday. The River is loaded with smolt, But not enough of a hint of any returners to call a fish. Need more rain on the rivers more snow in the mountains.

Go sight seeing. The fishing isnt very good anywhere from what ive been hearing.

Ya it's been pretty darn slow. I limited one day but haven't caught any other winter runs besides those two. But i'm gonna keep tryin, fishing's fun even without catching anything.

Texas Fling-Did you see any fish caught a metzlers?

Fished it yesterday down by beer bottle beach.Didnt catch or see any caught.There were afew dark silvers swimming around. The river needs to come up a foot or so.

Hit the Green on Sunday and same results as everyone else. River to low & clear.

I do have one question, when did they stop us fisherman from going up to the headworks. That is some good water up there and some nice holes. I've seen and had my share of BRATS up there. Any reason why?

If I had to pick a river this weekend I would look at the Snoqualmie or the Satsop.

If you want to find out why you can no longer fish the Headworks wrap a towel around your head and go see if you can get past the gate.

Fisherman must be terrorist.

Sept. 19th, 2001 was when they closed access to the upper headworks water. Safe haven for fish up there now.
