George W. Bush should have been put in a bag with some rocks and dumped in a river for just suggesting we go into Iraq.
No, I take that back, it would be unfair to the rocks.
We would be a lot better off today if the 911 attack took out GWB and his pack of wolves.
If Iraq needs a constitution give them ours.
We aren't using it.
Jabba - You bonehead - I think I am the only that replied because you are so are far gone it's obvious you are beyond help.

You made the statement O... so I'm askin' ya... why?

It would be really cool if you could answer with your own true feelings... instead of a bunch of right-wing talking points too. wink

I'm not up on "right-wing talking points", but I'll tell you what I think... Kerry looked like a spoiled brat who wanted to be able to say he was President one day, he seemed like a wuss who would have cowed to any threat, and therefore attracted threats like flys to honey..... Kerry seemed to change his story quite often too...

No doubt many negative things can be found about every candidate, but these perceptions are the ones which stuck with me, and I hear perception is reality these days..........

AND, I cut and pasted almost every word, so it was easy....<grin>

A bag of rocks would have been a better choice then Bush. Maybe Kerry does not look like you want your president to look but he would act in a responsible and intelligent manner.
Bush is a damn big business puppet that never served his country.
He has done so much more harm then good it is rediculous to say a bag of rocks would be worse. Doing nothing would have been better then what he has done. Airlines are only safer because people on the planes know the risk now and will do whatever they can to stop a terrorist.

From what I have heard, Kerry's military service was laughable,(though not funny...) certain types of guys are not only a hinderance to production on a jobsite, sometimes they are even a danger to the whole crew, I think Kerry's presence in combat would be similar.

You may have heard that when he got back on U.S. soil he said a few stupid things about the war (Vietnam), hardly a tough guy, let alone leader.

Hopefully the Democratic Party will come up with a great American candidate in the future...(for a change).

salmosalar,
You are comparing two completely different things, and you should know better at your age <smile>

You can not compare one guys campaign with another man's double Presidency, if Kerry had the Office since his defeat, well, let's not go there !

You can only compare the two as of Election Day 2004.

I got 20 bucks that says Kerry kicks Bush's ass in a fight.

The only thing that looks more rediculous than watching Kerry shoot a shotgun, is watching Bush run a chainsaw. Skull and Crossbones brothers they are, spoiled brats, but I say Kerry is tougher than Bush.

Pay per view could rewrite history in dollars collected. laugh

Yeah, there you go.

They could do their show as a warmup to the main event.

I'm trying to think how much they'd have to ask before I WOULDN'T pay for it.

Ya know, I find that statement pretty phuqueing offensive. The guy lead a privledged life, sure, but he volunteered twice -- TWICE -- for active duty combat in Vietnam. How many of the GOP can say that about themselves? He received 8 medals, and if you question a single one of them you're questioning the integrity of the US Navy. And who the phuque are you, little logger-boy, to question the integrity of our Department of Defense? Got some major time in boots, do ya? I didn't think so.

And you don't like what Kerry said when he came back? You don't like the fact that his efforts to end the war saved hundred of thousands of American lives? That implies you feel the Vietnam war was a blessing for America and don't mind the US losing all the lives it did. That implies you're disappointed the war ended.

So why do you hate the military so much?

The fact is, you don't know any facts about the two candidates in 2004. All you know are the assinine GOP talking points fed to you courtesy of the not-too-Swift-boaters-against-Kerry. If there was ever a traitorous bunch, that's them. The only thing more pathetic than them are the people that fall for their line of bs. If you'd ever worn a uniform you'd understand.

Stupid bigot stump humper. I know you don't understand this, but I'll explain it anyway. There are only two types of people that like GWB: the stupid ones (you) and the rich ones (his campaign contributors). The first one you almost can't blame, because they're stupid (you, in case you forget) the second one is a long list of corporations that realize when they own the executive branch, they make more money, they make the agenda. You think you are being cynical and clever trying to argue for Shrub, you are only proving that you have absolutely no idea what happens in politics. You had to do a google search to understand what neo-con was? When was the last time you saw a stoplight?? At least you're trying to learn, I'll give you that. You should give it up though, it's just not in you, it requires a little (lot, actually) more aptitude.

Funny you should mention aptitude, I took an aptitude test once, called ASVAB, scored in the 96th percentile....whatever that means <grin>...

All kidding aside, about the only thing you have seen me post about Bush is that he was the only viable choice in the last two elections...not really any debate about that is there ?

You touched on a really good point (accidently ?), I am on your turf intentionly trying to learn, or at least understand why our population seems to be so polarized in our 2 party system, I used to think the vast majority of us were neat center (moderate), and only a fine line really separated most of us.........

"You touched on a really good point (accidently ?),"

It actually was not an accident, I'm truly giving you credit for taking the time to educate yourself, I think that is an admirable quality, I just wish you would do it before you post. Consider it a backhanded compliment.

Gore would have been better, Gore won. The people who didn't like Gore thought he was soft handed, there was no evidence of that until he conceded, and he was more so mired by his affiliation with Clinton. Ah, the good old days when we were so innocent that to be a bad guy all you had to do was get caught receiveng a BJ.

AuntyM,
That test score means less than nothing in my world, and I certainly don't consider myself an expert to judge veteran's service to their country, nor did I ever imply such, this is an example of your painting/spinning........

The only reference to any vet that I can think of is when I said that I had heard that Kerry's performance in combat was laughable, I don't know what kind of reading skills it would take to find me claiming expertise in that comment......

Are you telling me that 2/3 of the people, or 2/3 of those polled ?

Do you want to sign up for whatever any poll says, or just some polls ?

I am skeptical of polls, all polls !
