I know, they all want to be airline pilots.
Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006 2:13 p.m. EDT FBI: 11 Egyptian Students Missing in U.S. Eleven Egyptian students who arrived in the United States last month are being sought by U.S. authorities after failing to turn up at Montana State University. The 11 Egyptian men were among a larger group of students who arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York from Cairo on July 29 with valid visas, according to FBI and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. The others have arrived at the Bozeman, Mont., campus. When the 11 didn't turn up by the end of the last week, the FBI issued a lookout to state and local law enforcement, said FBI Special Agent Richard Kolko. "At this point all they have done is not show up for a scheduled academic program," Kolko said. "There is no threat associated with these men." They are between 18 and 22 years old, said a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the search for the men is continuing. The government probably will seek to send the students home once located because they have violated the terms of their visas, the official said. University officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment

Only 11 illegal immigrants? Oh wait...they might be useful as another GOP boogeyman. "Getcher ductape & cellophane, boyz! its the endo da wirld!!" Too bad Republicans aren't as worried about all the 10 MILLION other illegal immigrants pouring across our border every day... Oh wait that's right...they are a cheap labor pool and vote whichever way thier Catholic priests tell them to.

Just can't get past all the partisan bs can you 'rhoid? too bad, I keep wanting to allow there might be a brain there, and you keep proving otherwise. This should be your happy day, a moderate Demo bit the dust in favor of a multi-milliare dilettante. Just in case you cannot fathom what Im talking about, think, if possible, Conn.

Multi-millionaire incumbant vs multi-millionaire dilettante
Seems to me the folks in Connecticut sent a clear message to Lieberman and the rest of the Democratic party that they are looking for new ideas. Cuddlying up to this administration will not fly.
Your own insinuated comments wreak of partisanship.
But we come to expect that...

I was insinuating partisanship how? By making an observation that it appears the folks in Conn have sent a message?
"What will you all claim when he runs and wins as an independant?"
I will claim nothing! I might give you an opinion when it plays out, just as I did in my previous post. I will bet you money that if he does run as an independent you will see him continue to distance himself from the administration, that would certainly demonstrate his principles.
What will your opinion be if he loses AGAIN!

They are just pissy because a good solid conservative got thrown out by the party he was pretending to represent. It's like that dickhead Tim Sheldon who's GOP to the bone but runs as a Dem just because he's in Western WA and wants to win. Same with that tool O'Sullivan who got elected as a Dem in Thurston County just b/c he wouldn't stand a chance running as the GOP he really is. Sard---> Aunty M---> Edit: If the shoe was on the other foot, and Lieberman had been elected as a Repugnican, and voted against the party line, was against school prayer, supported pro-choice, spoke out against the war and the Patriot acts, then got tossed onto his kiester in his party's next primary, you guys would be dancing in the streets and those stupid douchebags on FOX would be saying how wonderful it is.

I don't believe either one of them are just pissy. I believe Aunty is itching for a fight since things have been so slow on this forum and she is resorting to her standard MO.
Sard on the other hand, I prefer to think Sard's post are usually a reflection of himself. i.e. YOU can't get beyond the partisan BS. Uh huh, Right!!!

Thanks for keeping it civil Aunty. Alway a pleasure discussing something with a person who is able to maintain a decent level of decorum.
I will refrain from telling you where you can look for your clues!
It is comical how you see yourself as the only person capable of being in the middle, the rest of us are just out on the fringes. Marginalization makes it all fit doesn't it.

Off Topic: There are several Republicans who are referred to as RINO's...Republicans In Name Only...legislators who don't fall into tight lockstep with the Bush Administration.
Were the right wingers able to vote them out in favor of a different Republican, they'd do it in a second. To bash Democrats for doing it is not only hypocritical, it's stupid.
Back on Topic: It looks like they've got three of the eleven missing students in custody now...of the 17 total Egyptian students in the exchange program, 6 showed up for class, and eleven didn't. Of the eleven who didn't, one was arrested today, and two others turned themselves in, and are now in custody as well.
Of the eleven who didn't show, eight are still "whereabouts unknown"...
Fish on...
Todd
