It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Good for you guys, wouldn't want this to carry over to the SRC! Too good of a group to be pissed at each other, hell, it's fishing that brought you all together.

We had my trailer in a non-serviced site until Thursday night. By the time we moved the batteries were dead and water was condenced all over the interior. Truly, the Bates motel. At least it wasn't the Masterbates motel. Not in my bunk anyway.

Fishermen all get on each others' nerves if they are shacked up for more than a couple of days...with all the drinking, lying, one upmanship, drinking, foul weather, bad food, drinking...did I mention the drinking part?

I know I get on Sol's nerves...God knows he gets on mine...but I still look forward to fishing with him each spring as one of my favorite weekends of the year!

Fish on...

Todd

Sound like maybe your begining to grow as an angler, climbing that hierarchy of needs so to speak. Someday it maybe more about the experience, the fish and your contribution back to the resource. Not so much about self promotion and ego. Happy climbing...

Like they say Solly, "To err is human, to forgive is Divine."

Sounds to me like you're one step closer to giving thanks to the Creator for the fishes in the sea and the awesome privelege it is to catch them.
Better yet, one step closer to praising God for the forgiveness he extends to each of us.

Overall sounds like you guys had a life changing trip.
And caught some fish too. Congrats.

Y'all in my prayers daily and I'm very glad you all made it back safely.

PS. How 'bout that spectacular sunset tonight. Kinda puts things in perspective, don't it. wink

Don't get your hopes up yet, Mooch.

The Rev. Dr. Parker is living proof that there can't be a god. Simple as that.

Either that, or I sold my soul to the Devil for that fish.

At this point in time, it's really a coin toss as to which is true.

1. Michael, my hope may be FOR you, but it's not IN you. It's in Christ.

2. Our unfaithfullness to God does not nullify his faithfullness to us.

3. News flash: Each of our souls were sold to the Devil long before you ever caught that fish.
Good news for those that believe is that we were bought back for an incalcuble price.

BTW, you can keep your coin and your fish, cause this amazing grace is freely given to those who would ask. wink

Stam I'm right there with you. I got home and told my wonderful wife I'm going back next year. She said ok! As long as she gets to do whatever she wants for the same week. Signed, Sealed, and delivered.... I'm done.

Stam,

You might want to be really specific about that 40" when you're dealing with the prince of D.
