Howabout 7000+ horsepower and 330 mph in the quarter mile?

Unless you have seen them in person, you cannot believe what they do.
Sheer Violence.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Top fuel cars are the top of the horsepower heap. Driving power that kicks you right in the chest.

Of course, that 917-30 had between 1000-1200 bhp AND you could drive it for significantly more than 1/4 mile between rebuilds.

Leaving town over the rise we saw his gumball machine go off in the rear view mirror. I told Andy to just get around the first corner and pull in a driveway and turn his lights out. What does he do? He slows down, turns his lights out and THEN turns in the driveway. Only he missed the driveway by 20 feet and put the car nose down in a 7-foot deep ditch. So we just sat there and waited to get busted.

That's my 69 firebird story. I have a 69 GTO story too. smile
I would have gotten out grabbed some beer and left his ass to take the rap, but that's just me.
