It sucks having to explain the punch line.
This time I'll type real S-L-O-W. :p
First...add sarcasm to frame of mind. Then reread.
While attempting to register at ifish about 8 months ago I recieved an E-mail taking exception to my moniker. Having never encountered controversy here or at Martys I found it hard to fathom. The letter went on to list the many possible negative religious connotations that could be linked to it.
Quite the colorful list considering it was coming from model faith practitioners.
Myself having never expressed or implyed any type of biblical connection found it hard to believe that it was said that I was the one guilty of trivializing religion?
GoHarley (glad someone gets it).
Why is it that a Jesus surname is acceptable among hispanic faith practitioners yet not to our societies upper crusted devout mix? Would it then be safe to assume that pure intentioned hispanic belief also trivialize religion? I would most likely be shocked with what kind burdon their list could possibly bare?
Was Hackana that far off base when he used the term elitist?
Done ranting and as always...just my .02. <img border="0" alt="[wall]" title="" src="graemlins/wall.gif" />
