Just wondering if anyone own's one and how it performs. I checked one out at the sportsman show and thought it looked very well made and seemed to be every bit as smooth or smoother than my curado BSF and only retails for 10 more bones. Also checked out some other quantums and they were sweet as well. Looks like a person might get more bang for their buck with these new reels.
Anyone using these?
Thanks

I am not familiar with that reel but I have had a couple of Quantum's in the past. I will never purchase another one again.

I have 6 PR600CXs. I love them. After two years not a single problem. Smoothest drag I have found. Equivalent in quality to the CVZ-253 Daiwa Millionaires.

Do you own any of the new baitcasters like the
e600pt or any of the others? Im thinkin this is gonna be my next baitcaster for steelies unless
there is a bunch of negitive feedback on this reel.

Ed --- Nope. Part of the problem with buying the half dozen PR600s is that they will last me a lifetime. Very happy with them tho......

I do note that the reel that you are asking about is a low-profile reel, whereas mine are round reels. I suspect that there is little in common.
