Originally posted by steelheadfisher: ''dont listen to him hes just a kid he does not know what he is taking about'' steelheadfisher, I, for one, am glad you are on this board, 11 years old or not. Welcome aboard and I hope you will contribute much more in the years to come. Sorry you had to find out this way, but as you can see you don't have to be a "kid" to not know what you are talking about. For the record, there is nothing wrong with being a kid and I would venture to say that most of us old duffers don't really know as much as we should about what we are talking about. But this fact will always remain: if you truly wish to be heard and earn the respect and admiration of others, like Bob on this board, you must be honest even if it's uncomfortable. Coming clean on your profile was a good move and you're on the right track now. Honesty is always the best policy and integrity is the only thing that will ever establish your credibility on this board or anywhere else for that matter. Experience and knowlege are worthless without the wisdom that comes from truth. It is the "fishermans curse" to tell the truth and we all struggle with it, but I'm sure your father will tell you that you will never be sorry for telling it like it really is. Besides, I know when you post that 20# steelhead you're going to catch (maybe the Skook? ) you'd like everyone to believe it. So tell me the truth, who really is the best fisherman in your family? You, your dad or your mom?

AS SHAKESPEARE SAYS: ALL THIS BACK FORTH ABOUT THE SKOOK IS "MUCH ADO ABOUT" NOTHING, ITS BLOWN (NOT JUST HIGH BUT BY MUD) & WILL BE FOR QUITE AWHILE AS THE DAM HAS BLOCKED ALL THE MUDDY WATER & WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP IT MUDDY FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE ALA THE EFFECT ON THE COWLITZ FROM MUDDY MAYFIELD LAKE.........

Hey CFM, Now that your zipper cover has been blown would you mind telling us if there are any good holes we should know about on the Cowlitz.

Hey Mooch…any hole that you can see more then 6 inches would be a "good " hole right now on the Cowlitz! p.s. The Cowlitz did get it's first springer back to the hatchery last week! To bad you can't see one until it's out of the water Cowlitzfisherman

Steelheadfisher, I think if you would have been honest and said you were an 11 year old you would have recieved a much better responce from the board. And Mooch I really like your reply to steelheadfisher.

zipperlip, zipperlip, zipperlip!!! Some of these guys need to put a zipper in their ass so they can get their head out now and then! I mean really, is there really an entire river that is a zipperlip? No, they are all listed on these cool things called MAPS! Now, you may have a few holes on the river you keep quiet, but entire rivers? Who has never heard of the Skook? I drive over it weekly, and there is a sign on the bridge that says of all things "Skookumchuck River"! Damn state government giving out the zipper names! They should all be shot. And then when Downriggin' got blasted for giving tips an fishing for Blackmouth on the super secret zipperlip of Puget Sound I thought this has just gone too far. PUGET SOUND???? Man, now that was a secret. All this time I thought it was a mirage. There is fish in there? I gotta' try that one! Really folks, can't we all just get along? How many people on this board are going to flock to a zipperlip anyway? 10? Now Field and Stream I could understand the outrage, but here? I thought we all were a big ol' happy family here! All kids of Big Daddy Bob! Speaking of, Bob where is my allowance for this week???

Maybe I'd name my new boat "Allyall's $.02"
