Kev has a great Idea lets keep a eye out for a good area to have a derby. I have one suggestion, THE BIG ISLAND OF HAWAII. Just wanted to show you guys a Marlin that was caught when I was there awhile back(NOT MY FISH) 700 + The fish was caught in a derby with a $5,000.00 entry fee paying the angler $20,000. for first place. I was able to read the derby rules that were posted at the marina and one rule was No one can be assited in anyway other that guiding chair in direction of fish and the landing of fish. And all boat entries must have one derby official on board at all times. If I dont recall this was close to a 2 hr and 10 minute battle.
