Anybody have a recommendation for a good paint shop in the Seattle area? I'm trying to get the folks who sold me a brand new boat trailer last September to pay for a new paint job. The original one is peeling off like a candy wrapper.

My friend Mike Swartz owns his own auto painting shop in Edmonds, named Spray King Inc.
Give him a ring and explain what you are looking for, I'm sure he can take care of it. He's a great painter that speacializes in older custom muscle cars and Rods, but he does work like this too.

Have you considered powder coating.Much more durable.

If it has to be stripped, blast it and do it with rhino-lining like I did my big boat trailer ... love it and gonna do my little one next!

Hmm, so any place that does the spray-on bedliner deal will do trailers as well? Seems like a good idear.

I was out checking out the trailer again and it looks like they put zero primer on before the paint. And they're giving me a hard time about picking up the tab for a new paint job....

I think most would do it ... I did all the prep work and then just took it in to them ... not cheap, about $600-$700 or so for my larger trailer, but it's pretty spiffy
