I have a very good source(one of the few in the NW) for primo, fresh off of the boat, coon striped shrimp. Myself and several of my friends have been getting it from him for years, and it is as quality of bait as anyone could ask. If you bobber fish summer steelhead at Drano Lake, or like to fish smaller than prawn sized shrimp drift fishing, these are the ticket.

Fresh bait is the best bait, and it doesn't get any fresher than straight off of Mr. Gump's shrimp boat(so to speak).

Here is the deal;

We normally bring back enough for about a dozen of us to split up for the season, and let it be. After hearing many, many people and friends complain about the shoddy quality of shrimp they get at the local tackle stores, and the fact that all of those little baggies they buy end up costing between 8 and 10 dollars a pound, I have an offer for you.

A friend of mine and myself are asking around to see if there is enough interest in these fresh bait shrimp to make it worth our while to 'share the wealth'. If enough people are interested, we will make a loop through most of the state, meet people at designated spots, and bring these shrimp to you. And the best part is, it will cost you approximately 50% less than what you pay now.

So, anybody interested??

If it looks like there are enough people interested that this will happen, I will post all of the details about the when's, where's, and cost.

The freshest bait shrimp for less money, who wants some? You can post here, PM me, or e-mail....just let me know.

Coon-striped shrimp, aka dock shrimp are common to WA waters. Prawns ARE shrimp if you talk to a scientist. Prawns DO tend to be bigger than shrimp. Calling shrimp prawns is the same as calling rockfish rockcod or sea bass. They're all the same, just different marketing strategies. However, if you eat at a restaurant, there IS a definite difference between shrimp and prawns.

To all of you that have replied, thank you. I believe with some additional 'spreading of the word', we will make this thing go.
I leave for Las Vegas at 5 AM tomorrow and will not return until late Sunday. As of now I have not had time to personally respond to everyone that has e-mailed or PM'd. To those of you that I have not replied to yet, have no fear. I know who you are, and you are on the list. I will contact the rest of you when I return. I should have a much better idea about the details by the end of next week.

Thanks for the interest, I know you will as happy with this bait as we are.
