So who's taking the kids fishing on the big trout opener? Or are you going after the springers? Tough decision for me. Been hitting Mineral forever, but I got the springer fever so who knows. Just curious what everyone is doing.

I headed to jameson lake for the opener. Got my springer fix in last weekend nice 14pounder to the boat.

I'll hit the pond saturday and see if I can find a couple of those 2-3 lb. triploids. They're a gas on light gear. Sunday will be spent looking elsewhere for bigger varieties

Doin' both, springer fishing Thursday and Friday and trout fishing Saturday and Sunday laugh
