Should be picking up the new boat Thursday and need to bloody it up a bit.Curious if anyone has had any luck in the past for lings in the Pt no Pt/Skunk Bay/Double Bluff area.Or maybe Halibut.I know last year before the closure I reeled up a nice 20lb 'but from Midchannel(released)so there must be some in the area. Also anyone launched from Elgon it seems a better bet than PNP. what

There is always Neah Bay too. Went out there this last Sunday with Juggernaut and caught some fish. All though, fishing seemed slower than usual. Must have been the big tide change (-1.2).

We used to get some cod off of foulwaether bluff but havent in years. The kelp beds just north of Hansville used to be good too.

Eglon is a hightide only ramp so make sure you know your tides if you use it.

There isn't a launch at PNP anymore. Eglon is the closest, but as already mentioned it's a strictly hightide launch. If your boat is big enough, you may try the launch at salsbury, near the Hood Canal bridge. It's a few more minutes than a run from Eglon. Look at Kingston also, sometimes we launch at Eglon and then run to Kingston at the low tide.

The area around PNP has very little rocky structure for lings,Foulweather Bluff is a better bet,or Double Bluff. Good luck finding a Halibut around PNP. I used to live in Hansville, and I only remember one Halibut being caught around PNP.
