I invite you all to view the hatchery holding area at Sapho....observe, if you will, the number of Beautiful "Native" Springers with antipose fin intact in the holding area. My wife and I stopped by there yesterday....there were only about two dozen fish or so, but what got my attention was the number of "Native" fish, which I would have had to release that end up in the hatchery......what's up wid dat???? confused beathead what

Sol Duc springers that you'd see at the hatchery now will not have adipose clips, they'll have ventral clips. It's been that way on Sol Duc fish for a few years now. Been discussed in other threads and the reg modified / clarified:

Thanks, Bob!! I was just returning to this post to say that I had discovered your earlier post showing that ventral or antipose fin markings are legal game. You were Mr. Quick on the response, so I guess I'll just let this post ride. Thanks, Again!! beer
