Yesterday I went fishing at the north fork of the lewis, from about 4:30 am to about 9:30 am. I caught a 5 lb chinook it was 28.5 inches long. Would you consider it a jack? what

i dont think so but you never know i was thinking anything under 22 inches a jack? confused

12-24 inches is a jack chinook. Anything over 24 inches is a adult!

I caught almost the identical size fish yesterday in the Cow. Chrome and tasty.

Page 15 WDFW pamphlet 2003, "a jack salmon is a chinook less than 24" in length." the way I read it, if its 24" you better count it as an adult. Can you clarify that anyone?
