Looking for an easy recipe to BBQ some springer fillets. I was thinking just to marinate them in a terriyaki sause for a few hours and then cook. Any other simple recommendations?
Thanks.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Baste on the BBQ with melted butter, Teriyaki sauce and a couple spoonfuls of brown sugar.

Here is my favorite...

lay the fillet on a piece of foil
buy some polander crushed garlic rub that on the fillet with mayonnaise pepper johnnys and chop up a bunch of green onions and a lemon sliced put all this on the fillet with some butter.
Wrap up the fillet with more foil so you have a roasting bag 15 20 mins you have a gourmet salmon feast everybody will eat.

2 things that make this recipe work...

1 fresh fish

2 charcoal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wink

This may not be simple enough for you, but it is REALLY good.

In a saucepan, melt 1 stick of butter. Stir in 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 TBSP worchestershire sauce, , 1 TBSP crushed garlic and 2 TBSP country dijon mustard. Let this mix simmer for 15 minutes while the grill gets hot.

Take a fillet of salmon, with skin on, and spray or brush flesh side with olive oil. Place on grill flesh side down and cook for 4-5 minutes over fairly hot fire. Flip and place on piece of aluminum foil with edges curled up to catch sauce and keep it from falling on the fire. Brush sauce liberally over the flesh side, and cook, covered, 8 to 15 minutes, until flesh just begins to flake. Brush with sauce two or three times while cooking.

Serve with rice or new potatoes, and a nice salad, and you'll be a star.

1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Lemon Juice
2 TBS. Olove Oil
2 TSP. Sesame oil
Dried Herbs ( Dill, thyme, Parsley Etc.)
Grated Lemon Peel

Mix all together and marinate salmon for at least Half an hour

I like to BBQ On real cools and use alder to produce a fair amount of smoke and abke for about an hour at aprox 300 degrees.

I also add Crushed Red pepper, Orange peel, Garlic. I have a hard time following a recipe exactly so I add lib a lot smile this comes out awesome though.

Mix 1 to 1 Miracle Whip and vinegar.

Apply to the meat side of the fish.

Skin side down on foil. Completely close the foil around the fish.

Put of BBQ, low heat.
