I was able to pick up a new Ti 2000 86 mt 8-17lb brand new with case from a Zipper sporting goods store. I looked on the Lami Web site and MSRP is $489.00 I called Outdoor Emporium,Auburn Sports,Gi Joes, and they dont even carry that Rod, Why?? So I have no Price to compare with to gauge the extent of my find.From the Lami Web site It looks like it is the very top of the line. Why is it ot being sold in the big local stores? The rod came with a nice caese also. I saw two more at this store and i had them put them aside for me. They are all 8-17lb 8.6, not a scratch on them. I get the feeling that the store does not realize the price situation, and I feel a bit guilty if they just priced it wrong, and it is suppossed to be in the $400 Range. Any ideas or info on this Rod, and the going price, and your moral feelings on this issue.

Yep I would definately say that is a pricing error. If I knew the owner or if they were a small "mom and pop" type shop (do these still exist?) I would be inclined to let em know. However if it was a big chain like GI's Id probably chalk it up as a great buy and press on. I dont think you would put them into ch 13 by saving a $100 or two on rod.
BTW, Sportco in Fife carries one or two of them and if I recall right, they were selling them for around $350.
