Lets go out on a limb and say its "possible" that it would be effective.....
You will be the only DB sittin in the Sky with downriggers out each side, alone, in the 25 yrs I've been fishin it. And I say alone for a good reason I'll be in the sled if do decide to pull this stunt.
My recomondation, set your releases very tight and bounce them balls on the bottom every once in a while, steelhead LOVE that rofl Love ya dad......

Yes, it can be done.

Does it work? You will have to let us know.

Check out Pro Troll\'s web site for further info.

Unless you are running electronic components (engine, downriggers, etc) (and running wire fishing line) the answer is: no.
You'll some kind of galvanic process effecting the areas surrounding your boat.
The fish are already in there natural environment- no need to disrupt that. Regular mono fishing line and reading the water would give you a better chance of bringing a fish to the boat.
