The wife and I took our son and daughter in law shrimpin up by Brinnon saturday.

When we pulled up to the launch.A reporter from the Jefferson county Leader did a little interview with my daughter in law and myself. As he was finishing up she told him he could take our picture and put us on the front page if he wanted to.

I got a chuckle out of it,but guess what. She got us in there.a little off the front page.We were slightly misquoted, but found the article online.Guess I'm going to have to order a couple papers so we can hang the article in our place up in Brinnon.

Sometimes it pays to speak up huh.

If I could ever figure out how I would forward it to the b.b. but I'm not that good at these here thinkin machines I guess.

Aunty M,
Thank you very much for putting the post up for me.I guess I'm going to have to just take some time and learn how to do that sort of stuff myself.

CFM,
Thats my Daughter in law.Great gal.lot of fun to have around. She hasnt had much opportunity to do the shrimp and clam stuff,Or fishing for that matter. Its all new to her.She had a blast.I hooked her into an oversize sturgeon last year. She was amazed.Hopefully again this year.Plus a few salmon and steelhead. She also saw her first geoduck.I still dont think she knows what to think of that critter.

Suzy, was being the great person she is,and backing the trailer in so we could take the boat out.Whata sport.Great fishing partner.

We had a great time shrimping. The weather was great. And contrary to the article we did well. But not as good as the previous week.We were a few short of limits for the 4 of us.We left early so we could go to the festivities in Brinnon or We would have finished our limits.
