I just got back from fishing up above the 7400 bridge.Hiked a good 7 mile or so.some beautifull cuttys, spotted one huge latwe winter fish but no fresh steel.Only saw a couple of people but there reports were the same.I do not know how they did down below but I am sure there was enough people to acount for a few fish.River is lower than I am used to this early.Made for easy forging but hard fishing.good luck.

Minimal boats down at Black Creek, but I fished above from 7400 down to white bridge. Saw one fresh fish caught at the put-in, a few spawners were caught on the way down, but there were a number of trees in the river. Be very careful! The worst sweeper is at about mile 11 from 7400, or a mile down from Carter Creek. Hopefully someone will bring their chainsaw.

Lots of traffic on the upper drift in LOW water. Not a lot of fish. only saw one fresh fish above
