These large kings are not early fish, they are the remanents of a run that past through Pt Defiance in June. I had known a person who used to fish that run back in the late 70's and one year he had 20 fish over 20 lbs in the month of June. I had a friend catch a 26 lb king out of my boat during the third week of June there back in the mid 80's.
